This picture has a double meaning. First - it forms na arch (a marvelous "architectural" structure). We have also to bear in mind that author used a more complex word "archway" - highliting the part "Way". Here we touch the second, a bit hidden meaning of this work`s title. Archway always is a decoration of a way - a way leading to......- and this is the second meaning....... A real masterpiece of composition and idea......
