Silver Gelatin Print - lith process
===================
Who, if I screamed, would hear me among the angels? and even if one of them would press me against her breast: I would be annihilated by her overwhelming splendor. For beauty is nothing but the beginning of the horrific, which we are only able to bear in passing as it threatens to obliterate us. Each and every angel is terrifying. Rainer Maria Rilke
1-7. Well, this one seems to stir up a lot of discussion. Unfortunately the ‘Bable Fish” translations are not good enough to allow me to respond, since I am not quite sure what is actually being said. However, I do think honest discussion is good. For those of you who are at a loss as to what this is, I refer you to the quote from Rainer Maria Rilke, which served as in inspiration form me to do this series of photographs. You might also look at the other “Every Angel” photos I have posted. Do write me if you would like to talk about this some more. Best wishes - christian
